This mini-course is all about teaching your dog to interact with items and objects in a way that is similar to agility or an obstacle course. You don’t need to go to a class to have fun with agility! There are heaps of agility-type exercises that you can practice at home using household and garden items. With a little imagination pool noodles become hurdles and you can have heaps of fun with hola hoops!

Agility is very healthy for your dog and great fun for you. Always keep the safety of your dog in mind with DIY agility. Only use safe stable objects. Pups under 18 months shouldn’t jump off or over high objects. However, there are heaps of things at ground level they can do that is safe and fun like tunnels and weaving.

The idea with this mini-course is that you read the info and watch the video for a week at a time. Watching and reading a couple of times is best. Take some time to consider the info as it relates to your dog. How will you chose to practice with your dog for the week? Come back the following week to watch the next video for some new ideas. Need more time? No problem, you do things at your own pace.
